Call for Spring Workshop Breakout Speakers & Facilitators

The NAFSA Embassy Dialogue Committee (EDC) is looking for potential breakout speakers and facilitators for our upcoming Spring Workshop on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, at the Embassy of Canada in Washington DC.

The theme of the workshop is Innovative Uses of Technology in International Education. We have an introductory panel that will provide examples of web and mobile tools in three main IE areas: curriculum/co-teaching/online collaboration, internships and student mobility. Following the panel we will have breakout sessions on the selected topics.

If you or a colleague have a shining example of how technology can be utilized to enhance the promotion of international education – with relevance to our embassy colleagues, please submit the following to EDC member Judy Irwin by March 10:

· Name and institution/organization
· Email
· Topic area (related to theme)
· Brief description of how technology is being used to promote international education

The Workshop Planning Committee will be in touch by mid-March with those who respond for possible inclusion in the Workshop program.
